Recreation and camping site Mikjāņu sēta is located close to the shore of the Baltic Sea (approximately 100-150 m from the beach), within territory of Pape Nature Park and historic cultural monument Papes Ķoņu ciems (historical fishermen village). Mikjāņu sēta offers opportunities of peaceful relaxation — enjoying dawns and sunsets by the sea, swimming and sunbathing on the beach, searching for pieces of amber on the shore after a windy night, hiking the trails of the Nature Park, visiting open-air museum (fishermen household Vītolnieki), fishing in the sea or Pape lake (located nearby), picking mushrooms, watching birds and animals and enjoying other opportunities, which Pape Nature Park has to offer.
The center of recreation and camping site Mikjāņu sēta is an object of cultural heritage – a valuable part of historic cultural monument Papes Ķoņu ciems due to its traditional historic layout and buildings. Mikjāņu sēta is open for all visitors during summer months (without entrance fee).
