In ancient Latgalian culture, mention of Odziena (then known as Odense or Odse) is found in written historical sources dating back to 1455. The dilapidated inn has been reborn as a prestigious and highly-rated guest house "Krogusmāja", which has been welcoming discerning guests from all over the world since 2012.
As the Odziena complex includes not only the manor building itself, but also the guesthouse and a number of other buildings, we can cater for parties of all sizes. We can accommodate up to 200 people using the manor and outlying buildings, or up to 60 people if you just want to reserve the guesthouse.
At Odzienas Krogusmāja guest house you can spend a pleasant night in style. The style being early 20th century, European. Double, twin and triple-bed rooms are available as well as family rooms consisting of two adjoined bedrooms. The guesthouse has 9 rooms in all, but within the manor complex we are able to accommodate, for special events such as weddings, up to 100 people.
The dairy has been transformed into a craft brewery ("Pilsbrūzis") where they produce the acclaimed local beer, Odzienas muižas alus. The gardener's house and the barn have been renovated and significant territory improvement works have been undertaken.
Odziena Manor is one of the most prominent romantic neo-Gothic style monuments in the Baltics. Currently, several large function rooms in the manor have been renovated and the manor can accommodate events with up to 200 guests.
