Salaca river is one of the favorite fishing and Crayfish catching place in Latvia. Absolutely beautiful nature, peace, silence and tranquility. There you can find the oldest wooden lamprey weirs in Latvia, can see red sandstone cliffs. Near by Salacgrīva rivers Salaca and Svētupe are joined by Jaunupe river – small and swift river perfectly suited for trout fishing.
