The historic building is located next to the lake, Sasmaka Manor, as well as one of the oldest linden trees in Latvia.
Residencies for artists, writers, musicians and other creative personalities are organized here several times a year. Additionally house and garden are available for rent.
The property consists of two historic buildings. The main house has a fireplace hall with a dining table, a spacious kitchen, a library, as well as an attic space. The second house, on the other hand, has eight bedrooms suitable for 18 people, four bathrooms, common room and an authentic sauna, a fireplace hall and an attic room. Tent sites are also available.
The spacious garden is surrounded by old linden trees and fields, it's full of flowers, apple and pear trees, birches, cherry trees, and berry bushes. Just a few hundred meters away is the longest lake in Latvia, while the pristine beaches and charming fishing villages of the Baltic coast are a 20-minute drive away.
Whether you are looking for inspiration, relaxation or a place to gather people, the residence offers a truly special environment.
Additionally, bicycles are available, and we can provide catering services if necessary.
